For this edition of “You Can’t Make ‘Em All” it’s best to let the pictures do the talking! But here’s a few footnotes about a Seattle must-visit restaurant for Sea-Foodies… The Crab Pot!
I can break down my love for this place in five words: Seafood…dumped…on…your…table!
My advice – ignore the majority of the menu and go right for the Sea Feast section. It’s a bit pricey, but holy cow, it’s worth every penny! (My justification: we have a visitor in town, so it’s mandatory to go here in order to give them the full Seattle experience! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!)
When you see nothing but a mallet , a cutting board and a fork in front of you, you know table manners have gone out the window. It’s all primal, all the time! Then comes the good stuff! There is no greater joy than when your server dumps a heaping bowl of shrimp, crab, mussels, clams, sausage, potato, and corn on the cob on your table. The buzzer sounds and it’s a free-for-all. Roll up your sleeves, dig in and don’t be afraid to get messy. Sidenote: wear the bib! Trust me! You’ll understand what that means when you get here. Bon Appetite!
